Thank God for new year holiday, my right eye has swelled. Another infection again :(

New year visiting was like it has always been. I think I ate about 20 sotong balls from the cold dish my gran prepared today. They were so juicy and delicious! I know most people swoon over the shark's fin soup or abalone or suckling pig but for me the sotong balls will be my best food memory for this new year. Haha I feel so silly typing that previous sentence

I think when it comes to my generation, the new year celebrations will get less re nao. My cousins seem to be migrating overseas one by one. And my cousin who just got married and moved to Aus is preggers yay a new baby in the family soon :)

My grandma took care of me when I was young so I pretty much grew up at her place. The neighbours couldn't believe how much I've grown when I walked past the corridor he called his wife out to take a look haha and when I reached my gran's door I looked back and they were just.. gaping. Haha cute old couple.

It's true, every one has grown. When I was still a small girl, I would often go out with my aunts and their boyfriends. Then I attended their weddings, babysitted their babies and now everyone's so much older. Hehe.

It's time for me to enjoy my youth now, fall in love and count my blessings
