NDP 2007 at the Padang!

Shall update briefly for today.

Lunched with class before meeting up at the big space for the dancers/homeless/clueless. I think it's only on National Day when you can see so many army people walking around haha they're so cool. & I've missed the esplanade so much!

Loooooooooong queue outside Padang, people waiting to get in. Got my goodie bag(red!) and all the little bits that come along with it(blinking star, light saber etc haha). Gave my bag to J in the end and he had 3 bags, so his bag is super huge(this year's bags come with many zips so you can change colours with your friends, or join more bags together yay the more the merrier!)


It was hot, very hot

Did the usual umbrella routine and we supposedly broke a Singapore record so hurrah!

Stayed back after to catch the fireworks. Didn't really take any pictures of it cos I learnt from last year. I took the entire fireworks display on video but I realized the stupidity of it all. I didn't actually watch the fireworks I was watching my camera screen the whole time! So I figured this year I'd enjoy it as it is.

Actually it doesn't feel like National Day this year. I don't even know the theme songs this year! But Jeremy and Jason helped a whole lot by singing it all the way through dinner and back home. Yucky earworms they've got ;)
