The past two days have been good, better than expected, praise the lord! The class went out for lunch together during friday's three-hour break. Talked and got to know some of the girls better. we have people of all characters in our class. after lunch the guys wanted to play pool. few of the girls were interested. So i was like hey any of you wanna pierce your ears? Totally random and stupid question to ask but guess what, one of them wanted a second piercing on her ear! So we went and promptly got our piercings done. I'm a brave girl:D

Met up with some people from 4E8 in the afternoon. Heard there's some 'unresolved conflict' going on with some people in the class? So only very few turned up. I don't know what happened so i'm just gonna zip. Everyone's pretty much the same old person. Poor joey still gets teased like mad by the gang.

Left for youth service at three. Met with Geraline, Xiao Hui and a new girl(like me) Si Min. Rushed to Suntec for the newcomers' party. Played some icebreakers and i partnered S. I was Scooby Doo and she was Snoopy. Haha. People are nice.

Arrow Ministry officially started today for the first time. and I'm glad to be part of it. I had so much fun worshipping and listening to pastor Chin's sermon. And to see my friends again. Lovin' my CG!

Today's sermon is about visualizing. Visualizing what God has placed in our hearts(our future, our goals, our aims). For every single person, it's a different thing. Everyone is special. visualization is an act of faith, it's a language of faith.

Joscelin Yeo came up today to share her testimony. She came down with chicken pox just 3 weeks before her big SEA games. All she could do was sit home and watch videos of other swimmers and she visualized herself as them, doing the perfect strokes, all the while asking God for guidance. She handed it all to God as He was her Master Coach. and during the SEA games, she won gold medals for Singapore. A feat thought unachievable and impossible by many, but she did it. Very inspiring.

Talking bout visualizing, pastor Chin talked about visualizing our life partners. the qualities we want in our life partners. so we focus on these qualities and not allow ourselves to fall into heartbreaking relationships time and again. so here are the qualities of my life partner;D:

1) He must respect me
This popped up on my mind first, so i guess it's really important for me. By respect i mean alot of things. Respect me as a person, and a girlfriend/wife. things like listening and taking my words seriously mean alot to me.
2) Must not smoke
3) Honest
Mustn't be afraid to tell me what he feels.
4) Respects his family
How he treats his family is how he'll treat me in the future.
5) Be able to talk to me
By that i mean meaningful conversations that go beyond the lovey dovey and jokes and stuff. I tend to like to talk more in-depth into stuff so I'll need somebody who can hold good conversations with me. It must be a very natural thing between us :)
6) He must be sincere
No matter how small the action, i like to feel some sincerity. It's always nice to feel something coming from the bottom of another's heart. And this is random but I'll prefer a nice long letter to something materialistic, any day.
7) Responsible for his family/actions
Somehow i feel that this trait makes guys very manly haha.
8) Sensitive to my feelings
A girl is a girl and sometimes we need some understanding. You know he's the right one when he can read your thoughts without you saying or doing much.
9) Affectionate!
I like my man to be someone who doesn't hesitate to give me hugs and kisses haha:D Makes me happy.
10) Sweet and daring
Not afraid to show his love for me! ;)
11) Good-looking
As pastor said, 'good-looking' is different for everybody haha!
12) Faithful
Nobody likes a cheating partner but then again, if he respects me, he wouldn't.
13) Security
I must know i can count on him to protect me. And the thing bout reassuring :)
14) Freespirited
He mustn't be afraid to let his guards down, go crazy, sing and dance with me. I like someone who's up for anything new, and who isn't afraid to let go once in awhile.
15) Romantic
I'm a sucker for good ol love. Need i say more?:)
16) Love me for who I am

And it wouldn't hurt if he sleeps late(like me) so I can randomly message him at 2 in the morning and still get a reply haha. How fffffunny.

Who's the one who makes your heart skip a beat? I've got someone who does that :)

Had a very meaningful day. During the ride back, Nic told us about how he was feeling very left-out in his class and how frustrated he was, and some other things about Ophix outings and all. I must say i could definitely relate to what he said, and i'm sure Ethel could too. But in whatever situation, we just gotta remember we have God's favour. I am a child of God. Always look to Him!
