keeping the dream alive

today? i think it was much better than my yesterday. so cheers :) had math in the morning with mr teo. wasn't feeling so good because i didn't wash my hair and i felt dirty. haha. i watched my own video courtesy of winnie's nokia. and i think i was all flushed right there because its so embarrassing watching myself :/ anyway after that went down to my grandma's to study again with my cousins. he was really late this time. but alright it was raining. i was the only one who was all dry :D

all the best to brandon for his psle! i'm really keeping my fingers crossed for you!

after practising math, i left and took bus 12 from bugis. i've never taken a bus from bugis before and it somehow felt so.. exciting! and i just realized bus 12 goes to many many places! super convenient. the bus ride was really long and chilly but i really enjoyed it. just sitting there staring out the window from the top deck, seeing places and people everywhere. and when i saw familiar places i'd recall when i've been there, with whom, doing what. that just seemed to cheer me up a whole load. i felt calm and happy. kinda like i was on the top of the world! funny how bus rides can work miracles huh?

met jeremy with his sore eyes hidden behind his sunnies. aww. when i saw his eyes my heart just went ouch! :( hope you get well soon ok. and thanks for the ice cream cake! it was sweet, and so are you :) the festival park had some lantern festival celebration going on and jeremy could sing All the songs, from the oldies to the kiddies to pop. hahahaha.. it was funny.

i met a really nice cabbie today. he surprised me with a cheery good evening! cause normally i'd be the one who says hello first. upon knowing that i'm gonna take my o's, he gave me a sort of prep talk and encouraged me. and he insisted on driving me all the way to the front of my block and said it was the least he could do for a customer. and guess what, he didn't start the meter. i was charged $2! something he said was his very own "student price". somehow that just brightened me up. it's nice to know there're such nice people around.

:)

the hopes we had were much too high
way out of reach but we had to try
no need to hide no need to run
cos all the answers come one by one

the game will never be over
because we're keeping the dream alive
