i made it in time for my app this time, thank god. was so tempted to try the shocking pink this time, but anyways. went to harbourfront again, supposedly for lunch. bought a white ring which i really like alot. walked around trying to kill some time while waiting for him. just when i was getting bored when this survey guy came up to me. he was giggly.
Giggly Survey Guy: hi miss. can you spare me some time to do a survey please? (giggles)
Me: oh okay.. sure
GSG: are you singaporean?
Me: yup.. that's the survey?
GSG: oh nono. you just don't look like one. your nose is sharp. (giggles)
Me: okay my nose.. haha
GSG: so what do you spend on the most? *shows me a paper with four options*
Me: mmm, shopping.
GSG: oh, always go out buy things ah. (giggles)
Me: ya kinda. (laughs)
GSG: so how much do you save every month?
Me: errr, i don't? i'm sixteen.
GSG: oh!!! (giggles like mad)
alright. funny conversation. he kept giggling and i couldn't help laughing at it. gosh. so yea it did make me ponder bout how i spend my money. and my conclusion is: very unwisely! yea, i don't even save. and even if i do, i'll spend it at the end of the month or something. haha.
we decided to eat at chinatown. since you know.. the NE line drops people there. maybe i seldom go there, i don't know, but i've always imagined chinatown to be like coolly oriental. been watching too much western tv i guess. basically chinatown is quite old, with lots of chinese people around. very cheena place duhhh. saw mdm lim at this overhead bridge. haha! ate at this mall. the beef noodles ain't as good as the one at beach road. maaan. then he accidentally toppled some chilli sauce on me. so i went to the toilet.
people had to pay to get in the toilet. i was about to take out my wallet when a woman walked quickly passed me and into the toilet. without paying! i was like hmmmm. then i looked at the woman sitting behind the table. she was snoozing. so i quickly went in. and some toilet it was. there were roaches on the floor. ahhh! gosh.
you can really see the difference. the stuff they sell at the shops and stuff. very cheena. well i saw an antique gramophone!

and some mao zedong paintings on sale

well anyway, i don't think i'd be returning to chinatown anytime soon. haha. jeremy, agree?

i like the mrt tho

oh, yesterday we saw this hungry little kitten in the bushes and jeremy gave it abit of his shrooms burger. haha. cute little noisy kitten. and i know if jeremy can blog, he'd wanna say... naughty naughty banana !
